The modification is a module made by John Lemay that improves the sound of the Peavey amp. It's called a Lemay Mod and he is mentioned in the Steel Players section of the Forum under a thread titled John Lemay (28 April 2002). At the time I had mine installed, he offered a mod for all Peavey amps and according to one of the Forum posts he now has a Super Mod for the Peavey Nashville 400.
