Paul: I've thought about it but my explanation of theory relating to solos I play would be laughable in some cases. Then again, one of the definitions of theory is abstract thought, so maybe the steel world could use an alternative to bogging themselves down with meaningless terminology. My approach to theory is as long as you know where you are it really doesn't matter how you got there.
