Thanks Alan. Up to the year 2000, I was playing either a push/pull Emmons or one of three other brands, so my knowledge of Legrande serial numbers is limited only to the two I have. My mahogany Legrande lll is around two years old and the number is 1613L so my guess is that the original owner of your guitar didn't have it over a year or so, which would date it around 1998 or possibly 1997.
