I still like to play jazz, mostly for personal pleasure in my home. The lack of airplay for steel guitar is obvious but for other radio or TV related jobs involving me personally, I accept jobs only with people I know well and have the styles I enjoy playing. That could cover just about anything musically other than what's going on today. I had a dose of the rock version of "California Country" while living there in the 1970s and was less than enthused with it, so in my opinion, they're just sawing sawdust. Otherwise, I'm a happy camper. :-)
