Buddy, I have been having an arguement with myself (hard to loose that one!) about how you are able to play FHS in such a way that I don't hear the fingerpick clunking on the open ringing strings? I have about convinced myself that the earlier version (is that the Dickens Bigsby or R Price Sho-Bud era?) that you weren't using fingerpicks and on the Expo E9 version that you are lightly muting the strings with you palm on the bridge. Am I even close with either of these assumptions? Thanks so much for doing these Q&A's. You already answered many of the questions I have always wanted to ask in many of these threads.
