Buddy, I attended my first Ray Charles concert (and considering his age, I'm sure the odds are against me ever having that opportunity again) Monday night, April 15th. The man is still absolutely awesome on keyboard. He had a 17 piece orchestra, including a B3, and I kept thinking throughout the concert how fabulous it would have been had the "Big E" been sitting there beside Ray adding that wonderful steel sound to the mix. Since I know you and Ray did quite a bit of recording together and I have heard that the two of you had a lot of respect for each other, might there be a story or two or any comments about what it was like recording together? Thanks so much for doing this column. It is part of my daily routine. Dan
