From there, on wood or carpet, I prefer tilting, angling, or any other means other than on a chair. When I have to put the amp in a chair, I still try to stay away from the direct sound. Highs have a tight pattern and lows are non-directional, so placing the amp in the positions I described gives me a truer reading of what the majority of the house is hearing. In a miked situation, I cut the highs, let the techs place the amp wherever they please, and hope for the best. Last changed: August 02, 2015 |
