Dave: I tried both 16s and 17.5s straight into a Peavey Nashville 400 and neither were too shabby but I liked the 17.5s better. I'm running my delays through an effects loop in the Peavey so it was pure steel going in. I kept the 16ks in my C6 neck and getting an interesting sound and good separation in the chords. If it wasn't for the slight drop in volume, I could get used to them in a hurry, but everything is going to lean on the match to the Standel. Things are looking up though.
