Hi Rusty. I have no desire to design or get into the manufacturing end. I suppose it would be possible to duplicate the sound of the push pull but so far no cigar. It's not a sound for everybody but for those that have had a taste of it, it would be a blessing. A couple of nice features for present day guitars would be a tunable cabinet and a move toward modular pickups as in the Sierra. Maybe a universal design that would allow you to push the pickups down into the existing cavity and snap in place. I just put 16ks in my black Legrande and didn't like them so now I'm stuck with a rat's nest of spliced wiring underneath.
