Hi Buddy, I have seen where you are going to put single coil pickups on your LeGrande III. I have recently "unwound" the 22000 ohm pickups that came on my LeGrande II down to 18,500 ohms and it is still not exactly what I am looking for. I have a LeGrande III that I ordered with 19000 ohm pickups and it is much closer to what I like tonewise. The question has come to my mind as to wire size. Will your new pickups be a different wire size than what is normally on the standard pickups from the factory? I am wondering if my pickups with wire removed would be the same as the ones you have ordered. Thanks for your help this time as well as many other times. Jerry
