Buddy, would you consider writing your autobiography or an in-depth reminiscence of your years in the music biz? You were "present at the creation," so to speak, of so much steel guitar and country music history, and there are so many tantalizing stories of your exploits in circulation that I have to believe would interest non-musicians as much as players. Your command of English is every bit as strong as your musical ability, and you have a finely tuned yet subtle sense of humor. I imagine the story could be brutal if it were all-inclusive, but what brilliant reading it would make. There's so much press-agentry and revisionism in country music, and so many of the personalities from the 50s, 60s and 70s are gone now. Any chance?
