The steal guitar is a four legged console type of instrument played with a steel bar. After I heard the archive of the Midnight Jamboree I played recently, I thought about playing another instrument. I started stealing at the age of eleven and have been doing it ever since. The instrument is hard to describe but there are pictures all over the web site that would shed some light on it. Some describe the sound as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I don't give lessons.
