I played the Sierra on a swing album called Swingin' By Request. I also used it on Clinton Gregory's single recording of "If It Aint Country Music" and the album it was on (may have been the same title). My part on the green snakes album was an overdub on a tape Johnny sent to Nashville. It was recorded at a time when my wrist was in bad shape and my timing and confidence was shot. To say I was disappointed in my performance would be an understatement. The tone had a high vacuum factor as well. Outside of that, I liked the album and all the great things the Texas steel players did on it. They are a superb lot.
