From personal experience, I've found that blues tunes are an excellent source of information to apply to other types of tunes so I'll certainly consider your suggestion. I have a five tune blues course in mind where the first blues would start with simple changes with the rest progressing to the juicier chords, but it's all on the back burner. There are many players offering courses so I'm always open for suggestions. As for the Price tune, the intro was E9th and the fills were on the C6th tuning with the high G.
